 This
November, IBA Karachi conducted interviews for MBA
intake for Spring Semester 2015. As has been the
tradition at IBA, alumni were invited to be a part of
judge’s panel and actively engage in helping IBA find
the right candidate. On November 19, 2014, faculty and
alumni sat together in Interview Panels to assess
candidates’ suitability in one-on-one interviews.

Alumni are tremendous help in understanding the young
applicants’ drive and determination. They understand the
importance of this process as future prestige of the
institution is based on their decisions. They select
candidates who would eventually be brand ambassadors of
IBA.
In this admission round, about 80 MBA candidates cleared
the aptitude test and were called for the group
discussion and interview session. As per the requirement
by IBA Testing Department, Alumni with 10 years and more
work experience were invited and like every time, the
alumni department received overwhelming response. Most
of the alumni who volunteered for this activity alumni
were graduated in 1990s and were functional heads at
their respective organizations. This fact not only
reflects the commitment from our alumni but also the
high quality of evaluation they must have provided in
the selection process.
IBA Alumni Department is grateful to all the interview
panellists who took out time from their busy schedules
and aided IBA in choosing the best talent in the
country.
