IBA Alumni

We are proud to announce the recent appointment of our very own IBA Alumnus, Mr. Wajahat Hussain as the new president and CEO of United Bank Ltd., Pakistan. Mr Hussain, an IBA alumnus of 1982, has a distinguished 30 year banking career both within and outside Pakistan. He has previously been associated with Union National Bank and Mashreq Bank in the U.A.E. He joined UBL in 2005 as Head of Middle East and was elevated to the position of Group Executive and Head of International operations of UBL in 2010. He is also President of the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council. Mr. Hussain will assume his new responsibilities from June 1, 2014. We wish him all the best for achieving this feat.
