Keeping up with the practice of arranging social engagement initiatives last year, the New Year kicked off with free passes for improvisational comedy show, “LOL WAALAY” organized on January 01, 2015 at Pakistan American Cultural Center. Passes were made available by Mr. Shahid Shafiq, Alumni Representative on the IBA Board of Governors.
Initially, 50 free passes were made available for the Alumni but in view of the overwhelming response, the amount was raised to 60 which were later revised to 80! Alumni and their family were invited to enjoy the latest sensation in the entertainment industry and it turned out to be yet another night of fun and laughter.
LOL Waalay is an improvisational comedy troupe from Firefly Theatre. It started out as a team of five in March 2012 with a few experimental performances at the MAD School which soon blossomed into a regular feature starting September the same year. i and their friends and families thoroughly enjoyed the movie and appreciated the efforts put in to involve the alumni through highly entertaining events.
