Saturday, October 14 2023: OPEN Chicago held it's "The Future of Everything Summit" at the IIT Conviser Law Center over the weekend inviting guests from distinguished bureaucrats to leaders in technology and business. With guests including His Excellency Mr. Masood Khan (Ambassador of Pakistan to USA), Mr. Tariq Karim (Consul General of Pakistan in Chicago), Dr. Naveed Sherwani (Chairman, President & CEO, RapidSilicon), Mr. Aamir Chalisa.(Managing Director, Futurity First Insurance Group) and many more, the event covered a wide range of topics including sustainability, investing in Pakistan, leadership in changing times and global innovation.
Mr. Samie Allam (CEO, SETS Holding and IBA alum Batch of 1978) proudly represented the IBA Alumni Affairs Department at the august gathering to share the transformative journey of IBA from a humble business institute to a leading university in the region. Mr. Allam shed light on the role IBA alumni have played in managing and leading global corporations as well as the 700+ strong alumni presence in the United States who represent IBA everyday through their professionalism and leadership.
He reinforced the importance of supporting higher education in Pakistan and the role it plays in developing the country.
