The event was hosted at IBA Main Campus and brought together alumni who have achieved excellence in the field of supply chain in their respective organizations. The event began with a gathering taking place at the TPL Hall in the alumni Student Center where Mr. Noman, Mr. Adnan and Mr. Danish Hasan (Manager Amreli Steels) welcomed the guests as part of the organizing committee. The highlight was the surprise appearance of IBA Alum, supply chain professional, and celebrity Mr. Tabish Hashmi. Once the attendees had gathered, a campus tour was conducted to reconnect the alumni with the facilities present at IBA which was a pleasant surprise for most who had not visited IBA since graduating circa 2010! With over 35 alumni in attendance, this was IBA's 1st Industry-focused alumni get-together. The session focused on networking, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and in some cases, individuals even identified new avenues of partnerships between businesses. Every attendee was given a chance to introduce themself and discuss their current scope of work identifying the diversity of the audience with graduates ranging from 2022 to 1990! Closing the event, Mr. Noman thanked everyone for attending and encouraged the alumni to give back to their alma mater through the wealth of their experience. He encouraged alumni to mentor supply chain students so that they could identify opportunities available to them and be able to succeed in their chosen career paths. Mr. Burhan Saiyed (Sr. Manager Alumni Affairs & Resource Mobilization IBA ) requested the alumni to come tighter and establish a Supply Chain Alumni Endowment Fund to support promising supply chain students and provide them with a scholarship to pursue their passion. The event closed with a dinner. The IBA alumni affairs plans to continue conducting such industry-focused events in the future.
