In Pakistan, the mindset needs to be changed. We are actually a mentally slave nation. Therefore, one needs to show immense passion, dedication with a rebellion mindset to succeed and grow.
Q. What pre requisite courses needs to be taken to help students to enter this career path? (Courses/ certifications that help in this field)
It depends on the type of consulting services you offer. Since I have created the SPR capability framework, therefore, I would recommend the following courses:
• Strategic Management
• Performance Manageement
• Risk Management
Q. Do employers have a preference for certain individuals? (CGPA or a specialized Bachelors or masters requirement)
Employers have confusing and myopic hiring practices – both national and multinational. Therefore I would rather that they should change their hiring criteria and need to focus equally on knowledge, skills, and values as well alongside experience.
