IBA Alumni

After almost three decades of invaluable service to his alma mater as a Professor of Practice, former Director CED, Alumni, Public Affairs, Resource Mobilization and Program Director Alumni Affairs and resource mobilization, Mr Zafar Ahmed Siddiqui has relinquished his post due to his planned relocation to Canada.

Zafar Ahmed Siddiqui graduated with an MBA from the IBA in 1978 and his careers spans more than 27 years of FMCG experience in senior positions in sales, marketing and management. He initially joined IBA as a Visting Faculty in 1981 and in the subsequent years became involved with various strategic and management responsibilities at the Institute. During his time as Program Director, the Alumni Department developed its strategic direction and saw tremendous growth as various projects were launched to connect the IBA Alumni network. His professional and personal connections proved to be a strong asset as he worked to establish connections between distant Alumni communities. Mr. Zafar provided guidance to the whole team using the insights and experiences gained through his prolific career.

Now we offer a warm welcome to Dr. Zaheeruddin Asif who will be joining in his stead as the new Program Director, Alumni Affairs from Monday, March 02, 2015. Assistant Professor and former Program Director BS (CS), Dr. Zaheeruddin is also an IBA Alumnus of 1989 and has been teaching at IBA since 1991. Dr. Zaheeruddin Asif competed his PhD in MIS from Temple University, USA in 2008, where he also taught and worked at several MIS related projects during his tenure.

We are hopeful that Dr. Asif would take the Alumni Department to new heights and help the graduates across the globe to not only network within the community but also connect with their alma mater.
