Thursday, October 24, 2019: The IBA Alumni and Career Development Department held an awareness session at Unilever Pakistan where Dr. Farrukh Iqbal, Executive Director IBA, chaired the meeting along with the Manager, IBA Career Development Center, Mr. Danish Imtiaz.
Around 20 IBA alumni working at the Unilever attended the meeting including the HR Director, Ms. Fatima Zuberi, Director Brand Development Ice Cream, Ms. Farheen Salman Amir, and Finance Partner - High Value Projects, Mr. Muhammad Bilal Khan.
The alumni in their individual capacity committed PKR. 5 million out of which PKR. 3 million have been disbursed. Also, Unilever recently established a scholarship endowment fund amounting to PKR. 14 Million for sponsoring one NTHP student. The IBA will be allocating the revenue earned from the endowment to sponsor one BSCS student from next semester onwards.
