Class of 1993 & 1994 donate PKR 20 million

December 31, 2019: In 2019, the IBA Alumni celebrated their involvement with their alma mater and returned with more fruitful activities in 2020. Classes of 1993, 1994 and 1999 had come over to the IBA, reminisced about their golden days and had a good talk with the institute, on how to make it better and ways to contribute towards its betterment.

The Class of 1993 and 1994 was delighted to set-up scholarship funding options for students currently enrolled at the IBA; to enable underprivileged kids to be able to acquire quality education at one of the finest institutions of Pakistan. The Class of 1993 has pledged to support two students for their respective degree programs, which is approximated to be around PKR 4.32 million. The alumni of ’93 were fascinated by the facilities available at the campuses and were eager to be a part of the growing IBA community.

Similarly, The Class of 1994 followed suit and pledged around PKR 13 million, which will be used to set-up an Endowment Fund, whose payments will be used to aid students who will apply for financial aid. The scholarships sponsored by the ’94’s endowment fund will be:

- Abbas AnjarwalaScholarsip for the BS Accounting and Finance Program
- Sameer Yaqoob Ali Scholarship for the BBA Program

The IBA Karachi would like to extend its gratitude to the alumni above who have held out a hand to support students and future leaders of tomorrow.
