December 20, 2018: The annual IBA Corporate Leaders Advisory Board (ICLAB) meeting took place at the IBA City Campus where CEOs, heads and talent acquisition leads were invited to provide their valuable input into the IBA academic eco-system. November 9-11: The 6th International Karachi Conference was organized by the Karachi Conference Foundation with support from IBA at the JS Auditorium, IBA city campus. The conference started with a film festival showcasing the best of student and independent short films on diverse aspects of the city. The three-day conference featured discussions on traffic and densification, water and sanitation, public health, governance, education and the cultural history of the city. The conference was open to the general public.
November 9-17, 2018: IBA student, Owais Hayat Khan recently represented Pakistan at the Special Olympics World Tennis Invitational held in Dominican Republic as a unified partner with athlete Asim Ahmed and secured a silver medal in the Unified Doubles game.
November 5, 2018: IBA wishes more success to Rabia Shahzad, an IBA student, for bagging a gold medal by scoring 90 points at the Ralph Cashman Open Weightlifting Championship held in New South Wales, Australia. November 25, 2018: IBA BSAF student Hassan Hadi Khan won the Princess Cup Youth Scrabble Championship 2018 held in Bangkok, Thailand. Out of 18 games, he won 14, and qualified for the best of 3 final. He won the final against Tanaphon Kamenkij of Thailand by 2-1. Last year, IBA BSAF student, Hassan's twin, Hammad Hadi Khan also won the same tournament.
