September 1, 2020: The Islamabad Alumni Chapter (IAC) held a candid meetup with the Executive Director (ED), IBA Karachi, Dr. S Akbar Zaidi in Islamabad. A group of alumni from various classes met Dr. Zaidi and Director, Alumni Affairs, Ms. Malahat Awan at a co-working space, The Hive, owned by an alumnus. The IBA Karachi is pleased to announce that the MBA Class of 2005 has set up an annual scholarship fund with a commitment of Rs. 2.2 million over a period of four years. The MBA Class of 2005 is proud to be a part of the IBA's golden jubilee batch and on their completion of 15 years of graduation, this scholarship is a token of gratitude to their alma mater. The IBA Karachi is pleased to announce that the Class of 2002 and friends of Zeeshan Khamisani have generously set-up an Endowment Fund in which they have already donated Rs. 2.3 million to support their alma mater. The fund has been set up in memory of their dear departed alumni, Zeeshan Khamisani (Class of BBA/MBA 2001 ESF) and Zain Polani (Class of 2003 BBA/MBA-ESF). The IBA Karachi is extremely grateful for their efforts and encourages other alumni as well to step forward for such noble causes.

The IBA Karachi is very grateful to its alumni for their efforts in setting up the Usman Motiwala Endowment Fund. The fund is dedicated to the memory of Usman Motiwala who lost his life in a tragic accident in 1998. The batch of 2000 has generously committed Rs. 4 million for this noble cause of supporting students to attain further education with ease and accessibility.
